Raanana Hertzeliya win in Ramat Hen

Raanana Hertzeliya got a 68-64 win at Ramat Hen in a morning scrimmage. Raanana Hertzeliya was in control most of the way but Ramat Hen wouldn't give up.

Ramat Hen started Ayelet Cohen, Natasha Brackett, Monika Veselevski, Sharon Zeevi & Amber Hall. Gina Farmer sat out with an injury, Shiri Sharon is recovering from an injury and started on on the bench. Raanana Hertzeliya started with the four foreigners and Tal Salz, Monique Coker played very limited minutes with a pulled muscle.
Both teams played aggressive man to man early on as Raanana Hertzeliya jumped to an 8-2 lead. Amber Hall's 3pt play put some rare points on the board for the locals who took a timeout down 12-5. K.B Sharp drove the lane and got two free throws to make it 14-5, but Ramat Hen closed the quarter well and tied the score at 14. Hall was dominating the offensive glass, Veselovski had 5 points in the run.
The visitors looked good at the start of the 2nd as well, Karin Agasi came off the bench to score 4 points and Sharp's 3 against the zone made it 23-17. Shiran Tzairy got some trademark steals and Sarit Arbel found Troina for an easy deuce to make it 28-21. Brackett with a basket and a good feed to Hall stopped Raanana Hertzeliya's run and Sharon Zeevi scored Ramat Hen's first Israeli bucket of the day with under a minute to go. Troina's 3 set the halftime score at 31-29. Hall led Ramat Hen with 11 pts, Veselovski had 7. Sharp & Troina had 7 pts each for Raanana Hertzeliya.
Raanana Hertzeliya got off to a good start in the 3rd, Arbel scored the first two baskets to spark a 9-0 run. Shyra Ely who didn't get in the flow in the 1st half kicked the ball out to Troina for 3 and the lead was 40-29 with 5:45 left in the 3rd. Raanana Hertzeliya switched to a zone and Brackett nailed a 3, but Raanana Hertzeliya maintained the momentum. Tzairy assisted Agasi's 3 which set the game's largest lead, 45-32. Chen Nusel answered with a 3 as Ramat Hen went on another late run to cut it to 48-44. Tzairy drove the lane for two and set the quarter score at 50-44.
Hilla Izhar hit a 3 and Sharp had a fsatbreak layup to push the lead to 55-44. Ramat Hen called timeout down 59-48 with 6 minutes to go after Ely picked up her 5th foul. She was able to stop Hall from getting every rebound in the 2nd half but still seemed a bit out of it.
Ramat Hen turned things around with an 11-0 run which included 5 points, an assist and a steal by Shiri Sharon. The score was tied at 59 with 3 minutes to go. Sharp found Izhar open for 3, Arbel got another shot to go and Sharp dished to Troina who made it 66-62 with 90 seconds to go, Ramat Hen at the other end hit just 3 of 6 free throws. Brackett got in the lane to cut it to 66-64 and Ramat Hen used two fouls to give. Raanana Hertzeliya inbounded with 16 seconds left and dribbled 11 seconds off the clock before Ramat Hen fouled. Troina made both to set the final score.
